Planara
Turning Axsium’s workforce planning platform into a product HR, operations, and the C-suite can actually enter.
Introduction
Planara is Axsium Group’s workforce planning platform. The engine was powerful. The interface was cognitively heavy. In 3 weeks the work delivered 15+ screens, a full design system, and an interactive prototype aimed at progressive disclosure and role-based entry.
User retention rose 42%. Friction and errors dropped about 30%. More than 100 design-system elements shipped with the 15+ screens.

The problem
The power was in the product.
The drop-off was in the UI.
HR, operations, and the C-suite each needed a different cut of the same plan. Users did not leave because the tool was weak. They left because the first screens asked for too much at once.
Scenarios
A plan you can enter without a briefing

Clear hierarchy and progressive disclosure keep scenario planning readable. Role-based entry points replace a single dump of every control.
Staffing
Templates for levels, not a wall of nodes
Staffing configuration uses templates and daily views so complexity stays one level down from the decision.

Metrics
Choose the measure, then configure it

Metric templates and overlays keep configuration structured. The scenario stays the object. The template is the tool.
